i just finished serving up a meal at church, now i finished doing my dishes at home ... breath two, three ...gulp a warm diet 7-up down in hopes that it will detour me from chocolate. my brain is fried , not over done just a little crispy. i promised myself a nap, after all its sunday a day of rest, but i sit here on my couch with my little bug sounding out words and my brown boy pounding out the theme to the united states marines...hmmm..the marine's hymn yeah that's it! man those marines!!!
what about my day of rest Lord? ....
".mom, i n te r e s t i n g "......my little bug is spelling another word out,
"mom i need to check the weather channel and can we go camping ? "says the brown boy.
"mom the roman's named ...blah blah blah" says the the tall boy ...
" mom mom you aren't paying attention to me listen!! " little brown boy yells ...
im busting up now..i'm soaking up every word, every wiggle,every sound,every letter and question , im even taking notice of nalu the pug farting at my feet....yeah im not paying attention...
maybe i can take monday as a day of rest...today just isnt going to happen!
lord? why give me the day if i cant use it? my little bug picks up another book...i hear her read
" the princesse's have new chores, they raked leaves it was hard work" .......im wondering how the story ends..will they get a day to rest ?
